Many of our body part listings include damage codes that can be found in the “Details” section of the item listing page.
This is an example of the damage code on a rear bumper assembly. The code is 2S2. You can decode this number by using our Damage Code Chart. Look for the rear bumper diagram, then look for area “2” of the bumper. The “S” in the code refers to a surface scratch. The second “2” indicates that the scratch length is approximately the size of two credit cards. More code explainations can be found at the bottom of the Damage Code Chart.
